the surroundings the cottage and Isle sur la Sorgue

The patrimony of the region is too rich for us to make an exhaustive description but your hosts will advise you.

From Mont Ventoux to Orange or Arles through the Luberon, Avignon, Les Baux de Provence and Saint Remy, this patrimony would require an entire site dedicated to, we simply suggest some locations noteworthy next the gîte.

At 5 km, you will not fail to go to Fontaine de Vaucluse, the village that gave its name to the department, view the source of the Sorgue River that flows from a mysterious abyss. It would also be a shame not to go flaner through the streets of Gordes, Rousillon, Menerbes, Lacoste, Bonnieux, Oppède or Robion, these villages perched all within a 30 km radius of the Isle sur la Sorgue, on the edge or in the Luberon National Park.

A little further, to the west, visiting Avignon, Saint Remy de Provence and Les Baux is necessary, as the southernmost of Lourmarin classified most beautiful villages in France with Gordes. Why not go on the slopes of Mont Ventoux in a lunar landscape or by the blue ways of lavender and vineyards, or follow the paths of ocher in Luberon.

All these towns and villages will delight you with their lifestyle, their Provencal markets, their shops, art galleries, exhibitions and cultural sites...
